Most cutters use a straight handle that you use like a pointer and you have to press down with your arm straight to get an even cut. The Ergo 2000 has a bent handle that fits in the palm of your hand and you guide it with your pointer finger. This makes it easy to hold and the weight you can press down with your palm will let you cut over 15 layers of fabric at a time or cut patterns out with ease. The blade guard is spring loaded and with a flip of your finger will close so your blade stays sharp when it is set down. Because it is ergonomically designed it comes it two models one for right handed and left handed. It also comes in two different blade sizes 45mm and 60mm. ![]() Left Handed Problems with arthritis, carpel tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, hand fatigue, neck or arm pain? Then the Martelli 2000 Rotary Cutter is the only cutter for you! Unlike traditional rotary cutters, the Ergo Cutter is held in a natural position with your arm and hand evenly distributing all of the pressure. Cuts round, scalloped or patterned shapes. Safe, automatic spring-loaded guard closes with a flip of a finger.
