Hi, girls, just thought I would share about my sweet little featherweight. I purchased mine for $25 Dollars from my aunt the summer I was going away to college.

(1974)She was cleaning out her closets and was having a huge rummage sale....

I knew I needed a machine of some kind to take to school so that I could do mending. I thought it was darling and would certainly fit my needs....

It came with a carry case and bobbins and attachments,etc. I used this machine to sew things for myself and then for my children when they were very little.  I have had other machines but fall back on this one all the time.

I love it because it is simple and I only have to keep it oiled.  I wish Singer would consider manufacturing another product similar to this....  it is perfect for the young seamstress or for those who like to travel.
