My Quilted Floor PDF Print E-mail
Written by Danette “Dani” Sawtelle
Saturday, 19 April 2008

After years of devotion to quilting, my husband Larry encouraged me to leave my employ in the medical field and pursue my dream of being a “Long-arm Quilter”. We promptly purchased an APQS Millennium I have named Lydia, and started my long-arm business in what had been our living room.

After several years it enabled us to add an addition to our house creating my studio. We added a 16’x50’ space which not only gave me a spacious master bedroom and bath, but also a 16’x 25’ space for Lydia my long-arm quilting partner.

MY Bad Boy / Dear Husband PDF Print E-mail

MY Bad Boy / Dear Husband travels alot.
While he was in Dallas he called me from an antique shop to tell me there was a featherweight there at a fairly reasonable price. Now how thoughtful is that!!
He will also hunt down fabric when he is out and about if I give him a sample and the amount I am looking for.  I can't tell you how many sewing machine he helps tote up and down the stairs.
I found a 222k one day, called him to tell him I bought it and he was tickled at what a great price I got it for.  It was a steal of a price.

Yep, he is a keeper!!
