I love all of the designs...I think they are darling and one can use any type of print and it will turn out nicely. I was very excited to have a Canadian block in the last swap, as well as blocks from all around the country. That is half the fun, knowing the blocks come from everywhere in the states as well as other countries. Yes Jessica, a blanket (applique) stitch is fine. It's actually my preferred method over the satin stitch. I think the main point is that it's stitched down somehow. Betweens, I'm sure a Canadian dollar will do! I just wanted to make sure we make a donation to Fat Cat Patterns for so graciously allowing us to use her fabulous designs.
