Newbie about Featherweights

Hi everyone! I am BJ and I live with my husband and three dogs in Eugene. I love to sew and can prove it by telling you that I have 5 main machines and 37 in the waiting area! In all fairness, most of them are destined to be sold but I am not ready to part with them just yet. Most of my machines are Featherweights - American, English, Scottish, Canadian. I have them all. My favorite for taking to classes is a little green one. it sews like a dream! I also have three Janomes (modern) and two sergers.

I have been quilting since I was in my teens when I helped my grandmother quilt during summer vacations. I made my own first quilt in the '70s when I made a Quilt in a Day. I still have it.

Two of my favorite Featherweights were destined for the dustbin. My DH is so talented! He cleaned them up and painted them with chameleon car paint - one goes from red to blue and the other from green to purple as you move around them and the light hits them. They are quite the conversation getter, let me tell you! They are so pretty, I hate to use them, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and let you know there are Featherweight Fanatics everywhere. Oh, did I tell you I also have 6 FW tables?
