Re:Elm Creek Quilts
by suzannemary 2 Years, 6 Months ago The Elm Creek quilt that I did was Sarah's Sampler. I will try to get my kids to take a picture of it with the digital camera and put it on here. I'm so bad at doing that. In fact I have not taken pictures of my quilts that I have done and given away and I don't put labels on them either!! I should be doing that.

Re:Elm Creek Quilts by Jessica 2 Years, 6 Months ago You should "sign your work" I know it sounds silly....but someone may want to know one day....and who knows...you might have a relative in the future that finds one of your signed pieces

Re:Elm Creek Quilts by LindaLouQuilts 2 Years, 6 Months ago I'm also a big Jennifer Chiaverini fan...have all her books. I also have all the quilt mysteries by Earlene Fowler. I actually got to meet her in person at a book signing at one of our local quilt stores...very exciting. She also had a friend with her who has quilted all the quilts to go with the books!
A new favorite author who writes "quilt" novels is Emilie Richards. My friend & I just discovered her this past year & have read Endless Chain, Lover's Knot, and Wedding Ring. We are both avid readers & trade books back & forth when we're not quilting I would love to hear about any other favorite authors.

Re:Elm Creek Quilts by AnneShaw 2 Years, 6 Months ago I am also a Jennifer Chiaverini fan. They are in big demand around here at the library..so you have to read them quickly and get them back. I like the combination of history and quilting, and the characters are interesting. I also really enjoy Earlene Fowler's Benni Harper series. I am a horse lover from way back, and I also enjoy reading about the western landscape. That is one area of the States that I have never visited. I look forward to hearing about books and authors that others enjoy. I am an avid reader of mysteries, especially light mysteries.

Re:Elm Creek Quilts
by Ellie 2 Years, 6 Months ago I'm an Elm Creek Quilts Book lover too. I have read about all of them and collect them also. I would get her books from the library, but don't have the time to get the books read fast enough. Its a good excuse to buy them. I need to check out Susan Wiggs and Sally Goldenbaum. I'm also a Debbie Macomber fan. Just seeing two new authors I hadn't bothered to check out is great, Thanks.

Re:Elm Creek Quilts
by Michellea22 2 Years, 6 Months ago I love the Elm Creek books! I am also hooked on Emilie Richards whose books are set in the Front Royal Va area. She usually publishes a quilt pattern book that corresponds with the quilts written about in her novel.
